Successful Recovery of the Elixir of Vigor!
The Royal Exploration Corps found themselves in a most harrowing situation this past season. Early on they were presented with a mysterious recipe for an elixir so potent as to be dangerous in the wrong hands, especially if those hands were that of a gorilla!
While creating a test batch from the recipe a rogue gorilla wondered into their camp and made off with not only the first and only test bottle BUT THE RECIPE AS WELL!
Soon the R.E.C. knew they needed to recover this elixir from the now vigor infused gorilla. While under the spell of this intoxicant the primate was spotted in the rivers of the J.N.C.! The beast wreaking havoc and causing the jungle to be temporarily closed to expeditions! Next this great ape made its way to Trader Sam's! Surely looking for more ELIXIR! Here causing Sam to shutter his establishment!
The Corps knew they needed to stop this menace! Now having pilfered priceless artifacts from the R.E.C.'s friend and member Sir Tony of the Tiki, the gorilla had crowned himself KING!
The Royal Exploration Corps set out on an expedition, and did come in contact with this Gorilla King, dangerously so! Yet he escaped! Now knowing they would need the help of explorers and adventurers far and wide they gathered to discuss how they might corral this rogue ape! Not thinking for a moment that he would dare show himself, BUT HE DID!!! All in attendance were tense as Doctor John Nedson Shortbottom III devised a plan on the spot. Offering a trade, a bushel of bananas for the return of the recipe for the Elixir of Vigor and the missing gorilla idol. The gorilla pondered for a moment, but then made the trade!
Festivities ensued, vigor was shared and now all knew calm would return to the jungle... or would it?
