Shortbottom Distillates 6th Offering Honors Doctor Artimus Kingsmen

Doctor John Nedson Shortbottom III has set his Distillers to the task of formulating a suitable elixir to commemorate Kingsmen's recent acceptance of Lead Position with the R.E.C.'s Mountaineering Division. Shortbottom knew it had to be exceptional, robust, and vigorous in flavor. And it seems he's "Done It Again!"

Recently the Doctor has added to his dossier, accepting a lofty position in the Corps Mountaineering Division. The R.E.C. knows he will stay on top of things, never letting anyone down no matter how tied up he may be with his other duties.

R.E.C. Mountaineering Division Looks To Climb Mt. Whitney In Spring

Sir T. Youngington Regalia Esq., Commander Royal Exploration Corps paid a visit to California's Eastern Sierra this past week. The Commander was scouting the approach of North Americas highest peak, outside of Alaska. While this summit is less lofty than some of the commanding mountain tops the Corps has topped in the Himalayas, it is notable nonetheless.

The S.E.A. House Rowing Team found themselves in the choppy wake of The Royal Exploration Corps Crew as the R.E.C. rowed to an astounding victory against their adventuring rivals. Not since the 1829 Oxford/Cambridge contest has there been such a dramatic display of “oresmenship”! From the moment the stakeboat released the two Eights, the Corps seemed to pull further ahead with every catch.

On Sunday, September 7th, ’25 The Royal Exploration Corp held its Annual Confabulation and Soiree. The festivities took place at the R.E.C.’s favorite North American event location, “The Broken Compass” of Burbank California where Corp Officers, Distinguished Members, and honored guest gathered to discuss the year’s past expeditions and future plans.

Corps Members arrive and mingle with other likeminded explorers! The Eye On The Globe covered much of the days activities with both a news paper and news reel. The Corp was honored to assist the days hosts, as well as fellow adventurers as they searched for the Golden Snake Idol!

Adventureland Day '25 Is Upon Us!

At the time of this writing, Adventureland Day '25 is but a week away!

The Royal Exploration Corps looks forward to seeing Adventurers from all points of the compass converge on the Western Terminus of the J.N.C.'s docks this coming March 2nd. The usual conferencing of explorers will of course proceed, but we also hope to recover The Treasure of the Golden Snake!
