S.E.A. Waterlogged - Eye On The Globe Covers Victory!

The S.E.A. House Rowing Team found themselves in the choppy wake of The Royal Exploration Corps Crew as the R.E.C. rowed to an astounding victory against their adventuring rivals. Not since the 1829 Oxford/Cambridge contest has there been such a dramatic display of “oresmenship”! From the moment the stakeboat released the two Eights, the Corps seemed to pull further ahead with every catch.

The festivities took place at the R.E.C.’s favorite North American event location, “The Broken Compass” of Burbank California where Corp Officers, Distinguished Members, and honored guest gathered to discuss the year’s past expeditions and future plans.

Adventureland Day '25 Is Upon Us!

At the time of this writing, Adventureland Day '25 is but a week away!

The Royal Exploration Corps looks forward to seeing Adventurers from all points of the compass converge on the Western Terminus of the J.N.C.'s docks this coming March 2nd. The usual conferencing of explorers will of course proceed, but we also hope to recover The Treasure of the Golden Snake!

Search for the Lost Idol '24

A Resounding Success!

The Royal Exploration Corp's Search for the Lost Idol, a successful and resounding expedition this past September, culminated in the discovery of the lost idols at the Broken Compass Tiki. YES there were TWO Idols!

Guests of the R.E.C., TikiTony, and the "Compass" congregated at the well known adventurers location, over tropical drinks and grub. They came to see if the adventurous team had in fact discovered the missing idol. Everyone was relieved to learn that it had, if even at the tragic loss of their colleague Count Aldert Van Jaager. The idols were awarded to two (perhaps not) lucky adventurers that were in attendance.

Eye On The Globe Adventureland Day '24

Eye On The Globe Discovers LOST Adventureland Day '24 Footage!

The Eye has discovered, a film reel deep in the jungle. And if you don't believe it, well you are in denial. While the film was severely damaged, it now over 60 days on the banks of the elephant bathing pool, it appears to document much of the Royal Exploration Corps attendance.

There is a slight possibility a second, undamaged and complete copy made it out of the jungle. The Eye On The Globe is continuing to look for this.

It's Official!

Shortbottom Distillates 4th Release

Shortbottom Distillates "The Aero Squadron" Overproof Rum has made it to the TL Tiki at R.E.C. Headquarters!

As reported via radiotelegraphy and Booby messenger recently, a new libation was spotted on the J.N.C.'s docks, western terminus recently. Skippers, many of which are Royal Exploration Members themselves, indicated a dirigible appeared above the docks before the days operations got underway. One skipper said the pilot of the lighter than air craft yelled out KUNGALOOSH as they dispatched a crate of the rum. The crate, safely attached to a parachute, gently hit its mark at the edge of the docks. It appears to be no fable!
