R.E.C. ROWING CREW EXECUTES MASTER STROKE
S.E.A. Waterlogged - Eye On The Globe Covers Victory!
The S.E.A. House Rowing Team found themselves in the choppy wake of The Royal Exploration Corps Crew as the R.E.C. rowed to an astounding victory against their adventuring rivals. Not since the 1829 Oxford/Cambridge contest has there been such a dramatic display of “oresmenship”! From the moment the stakeboat released the two Eights, the Corps seemed to pull further ahead with every catch.
After the decisive victory, the Corps’ Coxswain, with his tongue securely in his cheek, commented, “At fifteen-hundred meters, we were so far in front I began to think those S.E.A. boys must have forgotten to grease their trousers.
Needless to say, with jerseys wagered, the S.E.A. walked to their boathouse shirtless, and The Corps etched another notch in their sweep.
Could the J.N.C. waterways host future rowing competitions? With the Adventurers’ Rowing Cup finals now in the history books, speculation as to where next year’s event should be held has begun. Locations that keep popping up on fan shortlists are the Rivers around the Jungle Navigation Company’s Western Terminus.

Excepting for elephant bathing, apes throwing explosives, hippopotami charging boats, and piranhas eating men, the rivers of the area are relatively calm and safe. Indeed, the only issue of concern for that region is the tigers, but as the course only need be two lanes wide, necessitating a width of only 15 feet, at worse the agile cats would most likely jump right over the crews.
