Lady Brooke, besides being one of the youngest members of the Royal Exploration Corps is also its chief Paleontologists. Having worked with Doctor Jones on numerous expeditions, she is also well known to many of the miners at the Rainbow Ridge diggings due to the dinosaur fossils that have been found there.
Her interest in giraffes can be traced to an early expedition she had made deep into the jungle. The Skipper of her launch mistakenly called them long-necked horses. She Gnu that wasn't right!
